Rules at our School


  • Students should report any concerns on the playground or in school to the adult on duty or in charge at that time
  • Use all school and playground equipment correctly
  • Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Respect other students’ personal space.
  • Do not throw any objects that could cause injury. This includes snow, ice, rocks, hardballs, or softballs.
  • Do not play tag/chase on or around the playground equipment.
  • Stay in the defined playground areas. Do not go where you cannot be seen.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Do not re-enter the building or go anywhere else without teacher permission.
  • Dress appropriately for weather conditions. All students who have a recess period are expected to go outdoors for recess and should be prepared for weather conditions.


  • The bus driver may assign seats
  • Be courteous
  • Only use appropriate language
  • Do not eat or drink on the bus; keep the bus clean
  • Violence of any kind is prohibited
  • State law requires that you remain seated while on a bus
  • No smoking or using any prohibited substances
  • Keep your hands, head, and materials inside the bus
  • Do not destroy property; you are responsible for damage you cause
  • For your own safety, do not distract the driver through misbehavior


Misbehaviors that interfere with the operation of the school or with students’ education are most often handled by the teaching staff. This includes classroom disturbances, cheating/lying, inappropriate language, incomplete assignments, or failure to follow directions.

Severe misbehaviors, such as smoking, fighting, leaving school grounds, threats, weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or other repeated offenses will be reported to the principal and could result in suspensions or other disciplinary action.
