Mask Recommendations:
For students who have trouble adapting to wearing a face mask, parents are encouraged to have their child wear the mask at home, with increasing periods. For example, start with 15 minutes on, then off. Gradually increase so the mask can be worn correctly and tolerated for more extended periods of time. For students with a history of Asthma, a face mask is all the more critical and should be worn correctly. Please be advised that a face shield is not a substitute for a properly worn mask.
